Gina Brissenden

Workshop leaders Ed Prather and Gina Brissenden are in the Astronomy Department at the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory—home to CAE. Their scholarship focuses on the teaching and learning of astronomy, and faculty professional development. They have published numerous research articles and books on interactive learning strategies and assessment instruments in astronomy and have coordinated curriculum development and professional development projects for several professional societies, NASA, and the National Science Foundation.
